LocTRACE - Identification of relationship between foci of food pathogens

Focused on sanitary control of agrifood products and raw materials, it allows:

  • Traceability tracking of pathogenic strains involved throughout productive process, detecting the source of contamination and identifying phylogenetic relationship between strains across all points of process.
  • Strain characterization and molecular serotyping: identification of pathogenic microorganisms at subspecies level, depending on different serotypes. Serotypes have different antigens in their cellular surface, which determine their level of pathogenicity.
