This kit allows the easy and reliable detection of bovine meat in food and feed samples. The method works by detecting bovine or Bos taurus DNA by real-time PCR. The kit can be used in both meat and processed products and achieve a sensitivity of up to 0.01% bovine DNA. The included positive control, which comprises 0.1% bovine DNA, can be used as a reference to establish the detection threshold of the assay. The kit should be stored at -20 ºC, in a dark place, until usage. Contents: - A tube with the Bovine Master Mix. - A tube with the Master Mix general. - A tube with positive control.
